it started, we got our hands on our first non-universal bluray title. 'Twilight' runs well on the PS3 and refuses to run on our Insigna bluray player.

A quick peek on Insignia's site finds a February 2009 firmware update for the NS-2BRDVD player. Is that your player? If so, I trust you have installed this already, right?

It won't get released on Amazon till May 5th. Right now the only place to buy the Blu-Ray version of Twilight is at BestBuy and Target.

We got Twlight in BR from Netflix, I'm going to watch it tonight.

I called Insignia today. They told me to constantly check back their website for updates. I asked her if they were planning on releasing a firmware update and she said no. They only release update for the last player that went out. I asked, what's the point of checking the website if no updates will be released and she told me to upgrade to a newer model.

I said that I don't care about the BR features that the player support but the movie should at least play. I told her that I won't ever buy another product from them again. If I run and buy their latest one, how many months will go on before I get screwed again.. yikes, disgusting.

at least, I have a ps3 in my main setup.
