Congrats indeed. I hope your marriage turns out to be full of as much fun and joy that mine has been (seriously - I've got a good one \:\) )

Happy to hear the Mexico honeymoon plans are (were - by the time you're reading this) still on. Amazing how much of the Swine Flu hoopla has died down since we were all chatting about how to get *out* of your Mexico plans.

Have fun and enjoy your time together!

I have no idea why the first words to my head were "dead man walking". Damn you Tom Hanks.

Nice picture. Lovely bride. \:\)

Also, good move trading the white rose in your corsage for a red one from her bouquet.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Regarding music, We played Pachelbel's Canon while groomsmen/bridesmaids and minister and myself entered.

My wife came down to a lovely version of the classic wedding march.

During the ceremony (around the time of the unity candle) we paused for a short excerpt from "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain.

We ended with an exit to A Midsummer Night's Dream, Op. 61: Wedding March

Thanks to everyone here for the music suggestions and a special thanks to Mark!

Congratulations! Many wishes for a long and happy life together.

And pay no attention to the naysayers about marriage. Contrary to what the media, comedians, and some folks would like you to believe, marriage isn't a death sentence for fun and home theater. So long as you've found another person that loves and understands you (which is kind of the point of getting married), then there's no reason why you can't continue 'having fun'. My wife and I both love home theater, and have had many great adventures that were just in the name of hearing some brand of speakers or equipment.

Next year will be our 10-year anniversary. We might even be happier today than we were on the day we got married. I wish you and your new bride the same kind of relationship.

Enjoy your time together. And don't rush into the kid thing. ;\)

Congratulations!!

I recently said in a post that Peter is Wise. I won't dare say it again but I do agree. I wish all the best to you and your lovely wife.
