Yeah, the current Wii's video chip only does 480p, so no way to get more out of the Netflix. From the rumors it seems the WiiHD won't be showing up until 2011.

I guess I'll get a current Wii if Nintendo releases a black one. Would like to beat Eternal Darkness, haven't played that since I disconnected my Game Cube.

I noticed this, too. It's been in the pipeline for a while. We just got a Wii, and are avid Netflix watchers, so we're naturally excited.

Pretty soon youll be hard pressed to find a blender, toaster, or microwave that is not netflix ready.
