UE 18 Pro Earbuds

Same number of same types of drivers, even a price that's almost the same.

I'd be so angry when my wife washed those in my gym shorts pockets!

I'd have to bet they sound phenomenal. I certainly wouldn't buy them but there must be a market for them to have been introduced.

Talking about washing your stuff; the other day when I was out shoveling snow I had my Sansa clip+ in my coverall pocket and when I came in I through my coveralls in the dryer. Well with the the coveralls went my Sana too. It didn't fair well. Had to go out then next day and buy another.

My wallet didn't fair too terribly well in the washer a couple of weeks back either.

Theres still a chance of those devices surviving the washer, as long as you let the device sit and completely dry out for days before turning it on. The dryer on the other hand...did it melt it? That sucks that it doesn't work anymore. Did you lose a micro sd card as well?

It didn't melt but it also didn't work. It would still turn on but would lock up right after turn on. The computer wouldn't recognize it either. I did lose a micro card in the dryer some where. I never did find it, it must have joined the missing socks \:\)

Your dryer is the devil.

I'm sure they beat the hell out of my new iPod Touch ear buds.
Posted By: Wid Re: M80 Earbuds - 01/16/10 02:27 AM

Anything would.

ha ha, ok, so I just got an iPod touch. Any suggestions on killer sound that won't break the bank for my Touch?
Posted By: Wid Re: M80 Earbuds - 01/16/10 02:37 AM

Buds or on ear phones?

Apple and good sound quality are not synonymous.

Ouch!

Seriously, the best thing you can do is upgrade to better cans. Are you looking for in ear or full sized cans?
Posted By: Wid Re: M80 Earbuds - 01/16/10 02:43 AM

I have a couple pair of ear buds from my Sana that I have never used \:\)
Posted By: BlueJays1 Re: M80 Earbuds - 01/16/10 02:46 AM
Ditto. I don't use the stock buds on the Sansa and Cowon players as well.

Right now I am listening to the Audio Technica AD700, Cowon D2+ as the source powered by a LD MKIII tube amp. Sounds very good.

I mainly use my Sennheiser's Cx-300 ear buds, Koss KSC 75s or the iGrado. All of which are a great bang for the buck phone.

I"m using the buds that came with the Touch, in ear.
Posted By: BlueJays1 Re: M80 Earbuds - 01/16/10 02:59 AM
All of which are very portable as well. The AD700 you pretty much have to be stationary with. They are huge cans and self fitting so depending on the head, they might fit loose on certain heads. Like any full sized cans that I have tried I like to rotate the headphones so the headband is more towards forehead. Find it more comfortable.

Randy, I have really taken a liking to the Sennheiser CX300s They're really comfortable, easy to drive and sound pretty darn good.
