Yamaha receiver - WTF - 03/01/10 01:33 AM
Had some people coming over before the game, so I thought Id better do some dusting on my ET stand. I took the center speaker off the top, so I wouldnt have to dust around it. I finished my dusting and put the speaker back. I was listening to some 2 channel music before any one came over. I switched to 7 channel music and the receiver shut down. I would turn it on and it would shut down. WTF, turned off my PS3 and switched to sat and it shut down again. Then I could see a message when I tuned it on, "check speaker wires". I checked the speaker wires at the out put terminals, all good. I tried to turn it on again, shutdown. I looked around the back again and noticed, oops I forgot to plug the bananas in at the center speaker and they were shorting. How stupid, ha ha ha.
