Is it normal for a U.S. Bank to deny cashing an Axiom check? My bank told me I would have to send it through collections which has a fee of $5-$20.

This would be the perfect place for a Canadian joke were the US dollar not in the shitter.

Yes, it's a huge pain, and besides the collection fee, it can take 4 to 6 weeks until it finally clears. I've never found a way around this.
