Wow, people are going to be just thrilled.
I don't see a problem as it is a limited time control, 90days or so just to try to prevent even more pirating and all this relates to movies while they are still in the theater which means we get to watch NEW released movies in our own HT's without having to go to the theater. You can still copy via analog after the time limit runs out.
The ability to turn off ports is built into any device that is HDCP compliant. Get used to it.

Really all this will do is drive those determined to 'illegal' software like that provided by Slysoft.
