With the kind help of Mark (thanks, Mark! smile ) here's the design for the shirt. It's going to be white stitching on a blue knit polo shirt...not sure what shade of blue though. My cousin showed me a catalog, and the closest shade to "Axiom blue" was more like "Windows XP" blue. HAHA! But, Ian mentioned to me there really isn't a particular color they use anyway, so it can be whatever we want.

So, I need your sizes. Here is the list of attendees according to Amie:

MarkSJohnson
medic8r
CV
tomtuttle
pmbuko
onn
R A Devries
Adrian
fredk
Ajax
Ray3
Robert Devries
chesseroo
wheelz999
BBIBH
a401classic

Please PM me with your size. If you do not want to participate in wearing the shirt to the event, PLEASE let me know as well. To those who can donate for the cost of the shirts (no more than $20 per person), it would be much appreciated. If you do not wish to donate, that's quite alright, you will get a shirt anyway UNLESS you tell me you don't want one...OR I don't get enough donations to be able to cover the rest of the cost myself. In that case, NO ONE will get a shirt! shocked Anyhow, I will probably collect your donations at the event, but if you prefer, you can send it via Paypal, a check, etc. I will keep a list of who donated and how much. I certainly do NOT plan on making money for the shirts. In fact, I planned on paying for a lot of it myself. I will submit the design to my cousin, pick out the shirt, and let you all know the final cost in the end.

Thanks guys! It would be the GIRL in the group who would come up with "let's all wear the same shirts" idea! grin

Cool!

Do you want us to submit the sizes we are right now, or what we hope to be in mid-September? grin
Posted By: medic8r Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:01 PM
Any chance of tall sizes, like LT or XLT?
Posted By: Adrian Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:04 PM
JP's really 4'11", he wants a Kimono.
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:09 PM
I'm OK with "Windows XP" blue.... but not "Blue Screen of Death" blue.

Are you regretting doing this yet? grin

That just means we all got the memo and don't need new cover sheets for our TPS reports.

Thanks for your efforts!

I'm OK with Duke blue but not Carolina blue.
Posted By: Ken.C Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:16 PM
I'm only ok with Yale blue. Oh wait. I'm not going. <runs away crying>
Posted By: CV Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:18 PM
I'm okay with blue balls. I kind of have to be.

Sorry, channeling a sadder version of Micah.
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:18 PM
Now Ken's blue all over.
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:18 PM
Mary, you love us, right?
Posted By: a401classic Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:21 PM
Here's a killer deal... Is this close to Axiom blue?

Scott
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:29 PM
Yeah, nice deal! Maybe I'll buy some for myself!
Posted By: medic8r Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:29 PM
Windows Vista Blue?

Close enough to Duke blue for me!
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:34 PM
What if the shirts crash more often or are prone to viruses?
Posted By: a401classic Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 06:59 PM
We'll get them after the Axiom anti-virus application, so all is good grin
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 07:57 PM
post deleted by me....
Posted By: Adrian Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 07:59 PM
No, I don't think Mary wants to make you matching underwear, Mark.

Oh. You deleted your request. Never mind.

grin

Not to intrude on Mary's project, but I realized that noting your shirt size was not enough. It's important for you to select the shirt style as well!

Posted By: Adrian Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 08:12 PM
Do the enhanced ones have underwires in them?
Posted By: SRoode Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 08:15 PM
The shirt in the middle is looking at me funny...
Posted By: medic8r Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 08:15 PM
Nice drivers.
Posted By: sonicfox Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 08:15 PM
I suppose I can just cut holes in mine...but, I'm afraid it would look more like a tweeter instead! shocked grin
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 08:16 PM
But which version of the tweeter, Mary?

And, that beats us hearing Adrian's subwoofer the whole trip...
Posted By: sonicfox Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 08:25 PM
My tweeters are the tis! I'd like the v3 "implants" though! grin
Posted By: Adrian Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/20/10 08:28 PM
It's a good thing Axiom likes to use 2 tweeters, otherwise that could be a little awkward, Mary.

You were misunderstanding my description anyway.

I wanted a onesie.

::tries to find something funny to say about the port in Mark's onesie::

Don't know but I suspect that the Madonna version has magnetic, clip on, cone covers.

Wow...a guy goes off for a few days to celebrate his birthday...and THIS occurs.....

Mike, Mary told me she was designing the shirt in honor of your birthday. You weren't supposed to see this thread! grin
Posted By: Murph Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/23/10 05:00 PM
In fact, your shirt comes with built in candles. Just be sure to blow them all out before the flame hits the cotton or you... errr, wellllllll, you won't get your wish.

Good luck with the shorter candles positioned on the back of the shirt.

And Happy Birthday if I missed the thread!
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 07/23/10 05:04 PM
The event was threadless....

Since there's no longer a calendar on the boards, my guess is all the others will go threadless as well...

Is that why they call it a birthday suit?

Awwww...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIKE!!! smile I was gonna say some more about "tweeters", but I'll refrain! I'll be a good girl! HAHA! grin

Don't le me ruin the fun...carry on folks!!

This is by far one of THE best thread i've read in ages.

It gets my vote for thread of the year.

Are there prizes for thread poster of the year yet?
You go Sonic.

I'll take my blue breasted beauty piece in L, assuming that XL is the goalie size version by Canadian standards. If you get the onesies, i'll take one of those with a pee trap.

Can you paste icons on the shirts too?
Here's mine:

I should finally be making the trip arrangements this weekend.

I was thinking about a button or name tag with my avatar... need to work on that some more. I would think that individual icons would be cost prohibitive. Not to mention potential infringements (in my case, at least).

I had mentioned a long time ago that I don't mind printing up some stick-on labels (no pin holes through Mary's new shirts) with real names, forum names and such. I don't mind doing the avatars, too, but the pixel sizes are so small, they'll look pretty mediocre....

I can give it a try to see how they'll look....

This might be a little better resolution...
Underdog

Thanks, Mark
Posted By: MarkSJohnson Re: Shirt design...sizes needed. - 08/20/10 10:15 AM
Yeah, that would work fine for you... but probably everyone else's would look like crap!

Wait.

That's probably your intent, now that I think of it!

You want to have a good looking name tag while everyone else has a bad one just to feel superior, don't you?

ANSWER THE QUESTION, DAMMIT!

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

(Hey, let's have Randy make us each a faux-rock name necklace. We can look like old-school rappers, only with stone instead of gold!)

Yep! Its all about ME. Seriously though, I kind of figured that others would send you a higher res image, if available.

Bling! I like it, great idea. Do we know if he was able to get a passport and other arrangements? They should be delivered in person, don't you think?
