I'm thinking of buying a falconry glove so I can sit in the park and pretend I'm waiting on my pet falcon to return with a fresh carcass. Any suggestions on where I should purchase my glove and what kind I should get?

Buy a leash instead so you can pretend you're waiting for your lost puppy.

Girls like puppies more than falcons.

Not the girls CV is after.

Nicely played.

So I mention this thread to Mrs. Medic8r. She suggests that CV get a falconry glove and a puppy. Then, when the girls flock to the puppy, he can casually mention that he plans to feed the puppy to the falcon upon its return.

Gail's mean.

Now I know why your dog eats cat poop.

Ha ha, that's wonderful. I mean, it defeats not-actually-having-to-care-for-a-creature aspect, but maybe I could just borrow a puppy. But if I'm just borrowing, I may as well opt for a human baby.

Maybe it's only the approach of Halloween effecting me but when I read the above sentence, it just seemed really creepy.

Maybe it's only because Charles posted this but when I read the above sentence, it just seemed really creepy.

Well that made me giggle.

Aren't you supposed to swing the leashed puppy over your head to recall the falcon?

Jeeesh, Peter.... that makes me cringe! smile

I let these thoughts out here so they don't ferment into something terrible.

I thought you were supposed to swing the leashed baby over your head.

Whilst using your falconry whistle to alert your feathered friend - a dinner bell, of sorts.
