I am working in my bedroom, where i do not have HD service.. I have SD+ a 10 year old Sony CRT non HD TV... Even watching CNN, all that i can think is "WoW, this picture quality REALLY sucks..."
I think that when i buy a house i will ONLY have HD Tv's/HD content......
is anyone else in a similar situation as myself?
Sort of similar.
Changed internet providers to the local cable company after the last round of BOHICA (Bend Over - Here It Comes Again) from the phone company. Got 6 free months of digital SD TV along with it.
In the last 3 years, I've had TV for the 6 months around World and Euro Cup... I just don't watch the tube.
As a couple, we're up to watching a grandiose 1 hour of TV a week - she's been watching Survivor. No tube TVs in the house, but the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired.
Plus, the installation monkey went around my grounding, so there's a slow crawl.
No biggie... I keep the box for 6 months, return it before it goes up to $75 a month and all is well.

I'm onboard that.
We're with bell expressvu but for how long, i don't know since they keep increasing the monthly charge by $3 every year and claim massive profits in the markets.
It is the most costly monthly household bill we have.
why mot switch to dish or direct tv?
Is it the lower 48 only? I though their coverage area was North America, including Canada.... No?
The last I have heard, it is illegal in Canada to get US satellite service. If a person chooses this option, you would need a US address to get service. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
