The late and great comedian Milton Burl, was seventy four at the time, when he came up with a great one liner for his comedic skit in Las Vegas. " Last week I celebrated my 35 Anniversary, too my 39 Birthday" So Happy Anniversary Alan I hope you have many, many more to come.
Happy Birthday, Alan.

A belated Happy Birthday Alan
Happy Birthday Alan. Beer waiting for you in Buffalo.
Hi and a belated birthday response.
Thanks so much KenC, Adrian, Mark, Onn, Ajax, SirQuack, BrenR, and everyone else who posted. As a lame excuse, I was offline for a while, seeing my Canadian accountant about retirement funds ---I'm so old now I have to start withdrawing funds from my RRSPs, presumably so the govt can get a crack at taxing them before I expire to audio nirvana in the Great Beyond!
Anyway, I did drink a snappy little Chardonnet to go with squid at Joso's, a kind of landmark Toronto restaurant. Those with long memories may recall a CBC TV show of many years past, "Malka and Joso", a singing duo. Joso went on to start the restaurant, filled with large breasted statuary and a well-endowed male sculpture on the outdoor patio. The pasta with the black ink squid sauce is its signature dish and for those into excellent seafood, I recommend it.
Cheers!
Alan
And lest anyone feel slighted by my lazy-ass not mentioning everyone in my first post, thanks to Fireguy, Merchman, NickBuol, pmbuko, SonicFox, Lampshade, JohnK, BobKay (I'm in Toronto), RickF, J.B., Tomtuttle, Catbrat, cb919, Wegiz, Gary Vose Sr, FordPrefect, SBrown, EFalardeau, CV, StPat Guy, chesseroo, Murph, PowertothePeople, and Ajax!

Sure, make the rest of us feel lazy for not mentioning everyone by name in our own birthday threads.
Alan, you seemed to have developed a squid-like work ethic!

You'll note who got mentioned twice, once in each post. I guess we know who is the anointed one around here. "It's good to be da king."
Um, that's anointed NOT annoying.
OK! OK! I'm both. Shutting up now.
Ha! Tentacles everywhere. . .
Cheers,
Alan
