Is this the end of the line for Twinkies and Ding Dongs?

I read that someone put a Twinkie the Kid lunch box on eBay, after a week it had zero bids and was still at the initial $14.99 starting bid. Hostess says that due to a labor dispute with the union that their workers are a part of that they are shutting down, and that same lunch box hit over $690 in 2 hours of bidding frenzy...

Twinkies and Ding Dongs are starting to sell out near me according to the local news.

I never cared about Twinkies or Ding Dongs.

But Drakes is a subsidiary, and that means no more Ring Dings, Funny Bones, Coffee Cake Jr.s, Devil Dogs and Yodels.

Now THAT hurts!

Since that's a "Northeast" thing, many of you have no idea what you're missing! smile

Dear USA;

We have your Twinkies

Sincerely,

Canada

The brands are owned by Weston and another company here in Canada.

Mark, I guess that's good news / bad news for you. Nor Ring Dings or Funny Bones, but if you have a craving for Twinkies, you know where they are.
