Young Amie and all in the Land of Axiom will be celebrating today. Happy Birthday, Amie!
Happy Birthday Amie, keep your head above water.
You're so sweet! Thank you John for remembering every year! And all of you for your wishes. Waters rose another two inches last night . . . I may get to paddle my canoe for my birthday this year, in spite of the ice not being out yet!
Happy birthday Amie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did anyone else notice that Tom always raises a glass to each and every new of us? It's a wonder he's EVER in any condition to drive!
JohnK is my birthday calendar.
Happy Birthday, Amie!
HBD, Amie! Hope there were a few new pairs of foxy shazams involved (cool shoes.)
Mark, I read "Touchme, Amie, touchme." I was appalled--------------------titlilated, but appalled.
Hey, look! There are "0" people on line.
Boy, have I still got "it," or what!?

Happy Birthday, Amie.
Other than the ice, I feel your pain on the topic of rising waters and canoes. After Hurricane Isaac last summer, our neighbors gave us a pair of dock cleats as a Christmes present for the front porch - so we installed them! A bit of humor in an otherwise tense situation.
Joyeux Anniversaire / Bonne FĂȘte Amie !
Mark, keep your hands to yourself!!
Happy Birthday, Amie!
I hope it was a great one, Amie! I always enjoy your posts.
Amie, if it helps....
Early canoe riding is not all it's cracked up to be. My friends and I did our annual Easter weekend run down the Dunk River and I'm afraid it lived up to it's namesake this year. I had a thick wet suit on under my outerwear but the thing about a wet suit is that it only works after it gets wet. The initial shock of the cold water was.... well..... lets just say that there was both screaming and 'shrinkage.'
Happy belated Birthday, Amie!! hope you had fun!!
Happy belated birthday, Amie!
Thanks so very much everyone! It was a great day indeed: a little flood work, a batch of still-warm ginger cookies, and a selection of cheeses that satisfied even my Dairy-Capital-of-Canada-born heart. . . what more could a girl want? I really appreciate the birthday wishes from everyone!
Well, I certainly hope you had a nice glass of wine to go with the cheese.
Sounds like a great day. Yes, it's a local plug but have you tried the Avonlea Clothbound Cheddar ? It's made by Cows and has been wracking up awards lately.
May not be available in your area. If not, you can at least get thier latest T-shirt, honoring the late Stompin Tom.
