The Barbeque runs out of fuel while im cooking.
That's the only time that it ever runs out...
TAM
Cant argue with that. If only it was at the end and not the middle.
Used to happen to us at the worst times (like when we had people visiting, which not only is frustrating, but also embarassing.
That is why we ponied up for a 2nd tank. Now, one runs out, we swap it out with the other and then are committed to getting the (now empty) backup tank filled within 1 week. Then you always have fuel, and the cost is about $17 more for a full, extra spare tank vs. just a tank swap type of refill.

Unless you are going to pony up the substantial amount of money necessary to run a gas line and, of course, acquire the kit to convert your barbecue, that second filled tank is a must at all times. Periodically, I do a roast using the rotisserie unit, and that is usually at least a two-hour process and whether it be the tank or the barbecue itself the guages for measuring what propane is left in the tank are useless.
What about when you're bbq-ing shiskabobs and they fall apart and drop between the grill bars? NOOOOO!!!
Either your grill's bars are too far apart or you're making your shish kebabs for leprechauns.
Same thing happens to me when I grill spaghetti.
Which is why they don't barbeque in mexico. the beans fall through the grill.
I never run out of fuel. I keep at least 10 bags of charcoal and a face cord of wood on hand for cooking.
