I figured that I would loose some weight so I gave up sugar.

Now I have to read the giving up rule book to see if they consider Beer to have sugar inside it or if it's considered made with sugar. That could be a bit more tricky.

With the speed of replacing my amp, I should have given up music, as I seem to be not listening anymore as I have no means to until the new amp shows up.

BTW: when is lent?

The next time you borrow or lend something.
For Latin Rite Catholic churches Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 10(Eastern Rite Catholics begin on Monday, February 8).

Woah!! You were there then? What do you remember? Please tell me you didn't give up your young daughter(s) to complete strangers, consenting them to do what they please.
