I assume they're promos in which case the artist gets royally screwed (or more so than they normally do from their label).

That link you posted is specific to you. When I went to check out it still had all your info in it. (Thankfully the credit card info was not in there, but your name, address, phone number, etc were still there.

I had to start fresh from www.bmgmusic.com I even deleted all my cookies and temporary internet files before proceeding.

I was wondering what the heck was going on, because cd's kept popping into my cart that I didn't want, and all the cd's I was picking kept being removed. I'm assuming that was you doing that?

also, JandR.com has cheap cd's... not a great selection but some good ones.

When I checked it, I saw spiffnme's info in there, including the CC! (the number was ****'ed out, but the last 4 digits were visible). Yikes! I have a feeling I could have ordered him 50 Beyonce CDs, if I had wanted.

Anyhow, I was kind and cleared out his info instead. Now all you see is bogus info for California's Gov. elect...
