Sweet!!!
Congrats Those engines are so loud, especially with the dual exhausts.

Is it easy to open it up in the far north? {Open empty roads}

People down here still try even though there's usually a red or stop sign a block away. Even the highways here in Van. have become stop and go nowadays.

I actually pick it up in calgary next weekend and then were going to Kelowna and Penticton and maybe down the Hope Princeton ,will decide as we go. Then on to Chilliwack , parents live there and then we will be going to some destinations in Vancouver. Lynn Canyon , a shooting range we like to go to in Langley and then whatever else. We usually rent a mustang when we come down but its 300 a day so i figure i would just buy one this time . As for open roads, not much up here for roads. You can go to Dawson City or up to Haines alaska but i dont have a passport yet but its on my to do list so i can go next year since htey have a dragstrip there.

Does the range in Langley have rentals?
Does the mustang have the silent exhaust at start up feature?

Last year I took my oldest son to Las Vegas for his 21st bithday and we rented a Mustang...a GTR 350 I believe it was.

It sure was fun on the drive to the Grand Canyon, as the entrance roads are twisty!

Enjoy!

No , i believe thats new for 2018 ,plus some other things like direct injection/port injection combined, new transmission 10 speed auto and a new 6 speed manual. But that is ok cause i dont like my neighbors and i run open headers on my truck. And yes the gun range we go to rents guns. We went last august and shot a BMG 50 cal and a Desert Eagle 50 and some AK's . The BMG is absolutely sick, the blow back is really cool. I will be taking my PAL August 25th when i get back. I had my credentials many years ago when i lived in BC but lost track of them over the years, good idea to refresh anyway. My tenant is a gun nut too , has some pistola's and long guns.I mostly just want to get something for the range. We want to try an S&W 500 this time.

Yep, 50 BMG's are great. Right on the edge between "shooting stuff" and "blowing stuff up".

At Boomershoot this year the folks to our left were all shooting silenced rifles... on the right they had about a mix of silenced 6.5's and .338 Lapuas / 50 BMGs with muzzle brakes.

phht.... phht.... phht... BAWOOM... phht... phht...BAWOOM...

It was a good thing we all had electronic earmuffs.

Bridgeman check out demolition ranch on youtube and search S&W 500 magnum . They are shooting 700 grain bullets out of a handgun, i think i will pass. I will look into electronic earmuffs ,i really need something better for work, glad you mentioned them. I think that boomershoot would be right up my alley, i suspect you play with some tannerite as well?

Just some FYI, Ford announced that the 10,000,000th Mustang rolled of the assembly line this morning. That number would suggest the Mustang has been for a very long time quite a popular model.
Really like the looks of your future ride.
Personally, I think the Mustang || should never have been produced!

Strider , there have definitely been some mistakes made regarding the mustang and i too believe the Mustang II was a mistake.A freind of mine when i was about 18 had one with a 302 and he put a turbo kit from Accel on it and it was quite the ride since they didnt handle too well. Thankfully Ford did not go ahead with calling the Probe a Mustang that would have been tragic. The Fox Body was a good poor mans drag racer and good platform for hot rodders, the SN95 not so much another mistake imho. Sadly if you buy the GT premium you have get leather seats which i hate, who wants to slide around in a performance car, maybe on the pavement but not the seats. But you lose a bunch of stuff by not going premium. This one has the performance pack with brembo's and Torsen rear diff, 373 gears and a stick those are what are important to me. I cant even wrap my mind around how many cars that is , that is crazy.

Coolness all bases covered.

Big speakers, Big Amps. Big Engines, Big Guns.

Ha

Congrats Nice way to close the summer. Maybe a little extreme for the driving, Calgary G.V.R.D. to Yukon. Though in new wheels the scene's and twisting turning mountains should be even more enjoyable.

A couple of friends from the US have commented that there must be some Texans in my family tree.
