For those old pharts suffering male menopause, GM Canada just launched their new Mid Engine 2020 Corvette.
See it here:

I expect this to be very polarizing.
Looks like a Ferrari from the front, and Lamborghini from the back. Not seeing much Corvette in there at all.
Agreed and don't matter. I think they're all gone. I hear Tom got his in high gloss rosewood.
Pfft Corvette.
My 2012 Corolla all the way!
My 1979 GMC Vandura 2500!
The look is growing on me.
Not that it matters lol.
Someone mentioned twin turbos from the factory...I didnt see it mentioned anywhere.
The standard Sting Ray will have a 495 HP 8 cylinder in its mid engine set up.
Later, there will be some form of Turbo/Super charged upscale version - possibly called the Z-08 or ZR-1. Chevrolet tends to do this with Vettes going back to the C-4.
Are you installing an 800 in yours, Craig?

The current ZR1 has 755bhp, so to run with the hypercars this new design will need more!
I just took a 2017 Mustang GT that was a "new leftover" from one of my clients. We put in a dual 3 inch Catback exhaust from Corsa, added the performance pack 2 from Ford, and are now at 500 HP / 480 pounds of torque with a redline of 7500 rpm.
Total investment for car and enhancements was about $31,000. It also has the Ford performance handling package and is a killer in every way.
I have owned 10 Vettes in the last 20 years, but after this Stang, I am staying with the pony car. I expected "pretty good" and ended up with stellar.
Just ask the guy I was racing on the 407 last month - he had a 911 turbo and could not believe I was staying with him.
Craig, what can you do with my '79 Vandura? The engine has six horses left and the transmission sounds like a lumber mill.

I suggest some C-4. Video the explosion. That's the best you are going to get.
Can we blow 'er up at your dealership?

My guys would have too much fun with this.
THAT is a great selection of toys!

Sounds like quite the beast!
I rented a GT350 a few years back in Las Vegas... it was fun going into the Grand Canyon on the winding roads!
Oh yeah? My 2017 Prius V gets 55 to 60 MPG (imperial gal), ha!
Since we in BC have the most expensive gas prices in North America - thanks to our politicians who enjoy imposing all of their punitive taxes - my Prius is a fine choice. Plus, it never runs out of a charge & doesn't mind extended colder temps in winter (like full electric cars)...
TAM
If I lived in BC, I wouldn't even own a car. I likely wouldn't even own a house or condo because they are so expensive. I'd live in my bLuLu.
