As I was about to pick up my on-wall M22 replaced by the M80s, I had a flash that the receiver in the family room (Denon 3100) supported Front Heights! I checked and I was right! So I re-installed the onwalls (much higher and apart than before) and voila! Did not get the chance to really try it out. But I was watching an episode of Monk where they walk from a small room, to a large hallway and then to a basketball court. Front wall of sound seems WAY bigger than usual. But I did not check it more by switching from one config to the other (it's fairly easy with a web-browser).

One more toy while waiting for my QS10HP!

Neighbors left so I was able to crank it up a bit and try so more noisy stuff. I can't say that I was overwhelmed, but there are some improvements over not having them. I would not go out of my way to build a setup like that, but it's free for me right now. With music, the larger the venue, the more it helped. Solo instruments, it's barely different, or even hard to be certain it's not negative. Orchestra starts leading to more "volume" of space. Pipe organ was more there. Makes the room sound larger than it is.

Again, not overwhelming, but I'm glad I thought about it.

Cool that's similar to what I find with my M22 as heights.
When there's something large it's really big.
Have been using mine that way for a while with QS10 as my sides very enveloping when called to be.
