I think on facebook he took an alias of Craig Stevens ... Not sure he actually sold his stuff ... had the impression he listed it but then took it off when he cooled down ... could be wrong ...

As for political ... yup ... not very open to alternative views. I, personally, would stay far away from that topic if we ever met in person (being the bleeding liberal that I am )

Is the group any good? Mostly newbie stuff or?

There was a time this place had a wealth of information far above AVSForum.

I visit once in a while but have found little of real interest. The most interesting thing I found was when I figured out Craig Steven, CraigSub, and Craig Chase were all one and the same.

Yeah, Craig Steven had posted a picture of his A-LFRs back when there were only 4 or 5 of those things in the wild. They looked remarkably similar to the ones CraigSub posted here. Hmmmm ...

Yes, I sat and chatted with him at the last Axiom anniversary bash. He is very direct, strong of convictions and very passionate about US politics. He was picking up his LFR's and EP800's which were the units we used to play with the early Air designs if memory serves.

Trolls do ruin the atmosphere that is for sure.

Until just one spark, just one, rekindles the spirit. And through the loud mediocrity may be noticed by a keen observer.

Hope his room turns out well.

This thread is a textbook example why I left this board. I received a private message at FB about it. My responses are as follows:

1. 2x6 Speeds - thank you for the kind words. I am a member of the Axiom Community on Facebook, and would love to see you there. Craig Stevens is my moniker.

2. My so called "very political" stance. It's pretty simple - at the Axiom party in 2015, one of the Canadians there ripped into me about "50,000 people per year dying in the USA because they don't have health care." I merely pointed out that this person was woefully ignorant about US health care. As for the rest, it's amusing: people on the left side of the spectrum are not "political," they are merely trying to enlighten the rest of us. I merely stated I don't want to get involved in political discussions here, and that gets spun into my being political. It is ridiculous.

3. I posted the items for sale for a specific reason. These reasons were spelled out on Facebook. If anyone is truly interested, you can message me there. It is entirely about the Axiom business model.

I am also now a staff writer for Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity. A pair of Polk Legend L800's is the first review. Future reviews will be Axiom ADA-1500-1, Harbeth SHL5 XD and Legacy Audio Marquis center channel.

Very nice to hear from you Craig. I try to avoid Facebook. Aside from having destroyed Main Street by my reliance on Amazon.com, I'd rather not support the socialist techno masters of the universe.

I know you could have contacted Craig directly. The purpose of this thread was to be provocative and stir the pot. I consider that action to be noise. Others who have been here some time would as well.

There are a few here who are really trying to build setups and learn about the methods that truly matter. Audio stuff.

The last interaction of this nature involved Mojo throwing a provocative softball which led to both Craig and Nick leaving the forum. It was too bad, and a gross overreaction. Nick was an exceptional person, and knowledgable member.

Please think about what you are about to do.

Trevor, I really have no idea what you are talking about. I am not aware we have any lepers on this site. I always enjoyed Craig's posts, and his reviews. I am not aware that I am stirring any pot. I expressed my opinion clearly. I miss Craig's contributions and wish he would participate on the Axiom forums. Pretty simple actually.

I am speaking generally that every forum, social media site, hell even my pellet grill forum has trolls. I am not pointing fingers at anyone. I truly miss when this forum was very active say 5-10 years ago. Many good people I miss conversing with and also wondering how they are doing these days.
