Linked below is an Excel file containing a movie quiz. There are 60 pictures of movie scenes and you have to guess which movie the image is from. The twist is that the actor(s) in each picture have been made invisible.
Let's see who gets the highest score... (I'm stuck at 30 so far.)
Invisible Actors Movie Quiz
Very cool. I'm at 20, working my up slowly.
Birdman
I spend entirely too much watching TV and movies - I got 40 so far.
40? Holy cow!
I'm still at 30.
I've made it to 34. I pretty sure I know what #54 is, but it doesn't accept any of my entries. I've tried multiple variations, too.
In other news, PMBuko just 0wned our computers!
(sorry)
same here...likewise with 14. I thought for sure I knew that one, but nothing I type registers.
#54 (cut and paste)
The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring
#14
Star Wars - Episode II: The Attack Of The Clones
Sean
35. (but I still don't have 14 or 54)
Make that 36
Sean,
Those don't work...
I have 36...
WhatFurrer
I know what #37 is but it does not take any iteration of what I give it...
Funny thing is...some of the ones I have right, I have never seen the movie...

Try adding spaces - they both worked for me but I had to fiddle with them a bit. The formula in the spreadsheet is very literal - if there is one space missing, it shows up wrong. I pasted them again and made sure the spaces were correct. Everything between the quotes should work. There are two spaces after the colon.
#14
"Star Wars - Episode II: The Attack Of The Clones"
#54
"The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring"
** NOTE: When I previewed this post, the BB software compressed the two spaces after the colon to one. That's why it didn't work.
Sean
PS Anyone ever try the '80's music quiz a few years back?
Assuming I have those two correct I have 47. Btw 58 requires a comma.
I have been called a pop culture slut in the past.....
I guess script-kiddie humor isn't as funny here as at Slashdot. Ah well
And number 5 requires an exclamation point. If these are the actual scenes from the movies, it is damned impressive how they managed to bring the backgrounds out.
Sean
IMDB does come in handy for getting the sticking points...

I don't have Excel on my computer and can't get it to open with Works Spreadsheet. NUTS!
49 , if you count ET, LOTR:FOTR, SW:AOTC and AP:Int'l Man O Mys..
A free Excel viewer is available
here.
The last movie you listed is not correct, Capn.
Impressive - I've gotten 42 - I don't think I've seen the rest of the movies. BTW if AP:Int'l Man O Mys.. refers to No.7, it's a one word answer.
Sean
Just hit 40. Don't think I'll get much further, though. I wonder if we have them all between us.
Wow, this is a serious stickler for titles. #44 I knew right off the bat, but had to futz around to get the title it actually wanted. Up to 48 now.

Thanks Peter. I have the powerpoint viewer, but did I think to look for an Excel viewer? Nooooooooooo! Duh!
Someone want to start a list?
I think I hit my wall at 40 correct...
WhatFurrer
I just put up my list
here. I set it up in a new thread to avoid accidental spoilers.
I have 49 so far.

More of the same
here.
