We've added another finish in the
Custom Finishes section - Cinnamon Beech.
Incidentally - any thoughts on a better name for that section? Someone suggested Custom Color Studio.
Actually, I prefer the term "Finish" to the word "Color." It just seems more accurate. Either "Section," or "Studio" would be fine. Nice of you to ask our opinion. Thanks.
I think "Custom Finish Studio" sounds nice.
i am with tom.. 'custom finish studio'.. sounds all professional.

Axiom's "Custom Finish Studio" offers 15 different Matte finishes and 9 different High Gloss finishes...
Replace the above in parentheses with Custom Shop or Custom Color Studio...See the difference?
Custom Finish Studio...I like it...professional.

Have to go with what Tom said as well.
I love how Axiom truly values their customers opinions, and this is why all my current and future speaker purchases will be from here.
Well, that was easy enough! Thanks! We'll make the change.
Did you think nobody on this forum would have an opinion, or that they would be shy about expressing one?
LOL!
Everybody has one and NO! they would not be shy about it.

I personally like "Custom Finish Shop" better. The word shop is more fitting. Wood Shop, Cabinet Shop, etc... Studio is more of a painting/art term, no?
Yes, but I can see how "studio" works as well. They want the custom finishes to be a "work of art." Thats how I look at it anyways.
I thought about posting something similar yesterday. I like it when names reflect reality. If the part of the factory where the finishes are applied can be called a studio, then stick with that name. If it's more of a shop, then shop may be the better term.
But I'd go with the term that makes the most marketing sense. The two terms have different connotations. To me, "studio" makes me think of fine art and painstaking attention to detail. "Shop" is similar, but brings up images of mass-production with pieces of wood flying through a vinyl-lamination machine...
Shop - union guys in carpenter's aprons and Uvex safety goggles
Studio - one stoned guy in a beret eating Kraft Easy Mac out of an ashtray

I just find "Studio" to have an air of pretentiousness to it, where "Shop" conjurs images of a hard working craftsman.
Pretty color. The webpage is a little screwed up; the picture/text for the new color is out of line with the other ones on the third line. Also, is the grain horizontal, as it's pictured?
