StudioTech.com is having a sale on some overstocked items. Including a/v racks, and speaker stands. StudioTech makes some of the best stuff I've seen.

But...

I've never ordered from them before, so what I did was call racksandstands.com and ask if they'd price match. Not only did they match Studiotech's price, they also let me get my stand in the color I wanted! (The overstock units from the factory were only available in black on black.)

This is the second time I've ordered from racksandstands.com and they've been terrific both times. I just saved $150 and got the exact item I wanted!

Just thought I'd pass on the good info.

fyi...here's the stand I got.

They don't ship to Canada

I really want one of StudioTech's stands (the 6 shelved one, silver on black) but they don't ship here....

I'm impressed. You guys are going all the way to get your crib all set up. Took me a year to start putting all the HT stuff together after we bought our house. Even then, it was still piecemeal...

Funds are draining fast.

We're hoping all the major stuff will be done by the end of this month (sans the hardwood stairs).

yeah, i remember moving into our first house. Tiny (1050 sq ft) 2 bdr, 50 yr old house w/ SF Bay area prices. Had an oak hardwood floor that was covered by old carpeting for years. Part of it was parquet (sp?). When it was sanded down for refinishing, the floor looked so good I didn't know if I wanted it stained... Then I had the nervousness of not scratching the new floor. That is, of course, until the new dog did the cartoon stop on it and put an end to the pristine finish...sigh...

Nice looking piece spiff. Now, if you just had a really big TV to put on it..... . BTW, how are you doing filling in and repainting all of the holes that the plumbing Terminator gave you?

What style are you planning, Spiff? Something in particular or "garage sale eclectic" like my house?

The place has a bit of a Cape Cod beach house feel to it, without of course the beach.

The holes in the walls and ceiling are still there. We're starting to get used to them...it'll be sad to see them go. (Roger's dad has someone who's going to take care of them.)

I've been taking a few more pictures...I'll eventually get them all posted.

If he's not just reading then he must be extremely well-endowed, because I can see both his paws.
