I wasn't really "into" his music that much ("Hit The Road Jack" was NOT one of my favorites 
). But, when he did a song right, MAN! Did he do it right! (America, Georgia, etc.)

i thought his role as the pawn shop owner in 'the blues brothers' was hilarious.. then he breaks into some 'shake a tail-feather', thats just good stuff man.. i have a couple old albums of his on vinyl.. they are scratched garage sale finds, but i think i will give them a spin this weekend.
