...well, not pissed..more like disappointed. the QS4's that came had all but 1 or 2 of the grill holders left in place for the 2 upper and bottom woofers. the rest were broken off and stuck inside the grill. man....other than that, i spent the next 6 hrs rewatching some dvds just to hear the sound. and i was blown away!!!! these are great speakers!! but $400 for broken grills???? now im' nervous about ordering my 2nd pair of qs4's to finish up my 7.1 system. wut 2 do!?!?!
Um, call Axiom? They'll make it right.
yeah. Its experiences like yours that make even happier owners you'll see
Agreed! You will not find better customer service anywhere...PERIOD!
No need to be pissed. You'll be good to go by Tuesday. Get on the horn fast. The sooner you call, the sooner you'll be fixed.

I take it that they play OK? Hang 'em up. The new ones will fit on the same bracket. Think of it as a preview...

Did the little plugs go inside of the speaker? If not, all you need are grills. Axiom will give you your choice of either new grills, or new QS4s...
I would almost bet that they were not in that condition when they left the Axiom plant. It is so rare that you ever hear of such problems, normally the packaging is so good that my guess is the DHL guy and the UPS guy must have stolen the box from the Fed EX guy and played keep away, tossing it back and forth over his head until at one point it was tipped by the Fed EX guy and fell to its death. Actually, it sounds like you brought it back to life though Sorry just trying to raise your spirits, Axiom will make it right, just call them..

ps: was there any indication that the package they were in was dropped, dented, etc....
Very true. Axiom WILL make it right.

When I received my VP100, I noticed that the box had been damaged. And sure enough, the speaker cabinet was damaged. But luckily it was only a dent on the backside. A quick call, and I was offered a new speaker, or a "very reasonable" credit. (I took the $$$$ and ran!!)
I experience the same exact thing as you, except, not as bad. Read my posting and the conclusion at
