My friend who works at a bar (I know, bad source of information), said these two guys came in the other day and they're 'known' musicians here in Montreal. Anyway, they said they purchased a pair of speakers for $20,000 a pair, and they were made in a tree trunk.
has anyone ever heard of this? if so, i'd be curious to check it up. i wonder if it sounds any good. my buddy unfortunately could not remember the name of the manufacturer they had told him.
ya gotta luv google
, but come on Ravi, I think if I did have 20 g's to spend, it would not be on a couple of coconuts
hey Bren,
silly me... anyway, those are clearly not the speakers the guys were talking about, if in fact they are real.
sirquack, i'd obviously never spend $20,000 on a pair of speakers, but there's no harm in auditioning a pair!
I hope you realized I was joking, that is what the
was for, but by the ! at the end of your sentence, I'm curious? Anyway, just make sure you demo the ones made from Oak trees and not palm trees, I have heard they are more efficient and sound similar to the Axiom wedge design.
Who could resist a lovely pair of coconuts?
Aaaaaaaaoww....

Thaere they are aoll standing in a raow!
For those who have not heard the diddy....
I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts
(Fred Heatherton)
Down at the county fair
One evening I was there
I heard a barker shouting
Underneath the flair...
"Oh, I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts.
There they are all standing in a row.
Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head.
Give 'em a twist, a flick of the wrist."
That's what the showman said.
Oi! I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts.
Every ball you throw will make me rich.
There stands me wife,
The idol of me life,
Singing roll a bowl, a ball, a penny a pitch.
Singing, roll a bowl a ball a penny a pitch.
Roll a bowl a ball a penny a pitch.
Roll a bowl a ball.
Roll a bowl a ball.
Singing, roll a bowl a ball a penny a pitch.
Recorded by Danny Kaye, Merv Griffin, and others.
Fred Heatherton, 1949?, Box & Cox Publications, ASCAP.

sometimes i just put !'s in random places. it's hard to type the way you'd say it in real life. maybe someday forums will be all voice and no type. then my typing skills would be shot
NOT A PROBLEM, OH CRAP I HAVE MY CAPS ON, NO I'M NOT REALLY YELLING, REALLY.....
