Karol Wojtyla, 1920-2005. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

I posted something on my website pretaining to Pope John Pauls passing. For anyone who is intereded in checking it out, just pull up my profile and click on my sites link. For myself as a catholic, I can only say that I'm deeply saden by the loss of the Holy Father and that he'll always remain in my heart. To resite the last paragraph in my tribute to the Pope; God bless you John Paul. You gave us hope, you gave us love, you gave us faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. You will never be forgotten and we'll miss you always. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thanks JohnK for starting this thread, your words are spoken like a true Christian. Personally, I was raised Methodist, but married a Catholic Farm girl from NE Iowa . We are currently members of a Lutheran church. Back in 1979, Pope John Paul II came to visit Des Moines, specifically Living History Farms, which is a tourist attraction that represents how people lived/survived in the 1800's and early 1900's. The Pope spoke to thousands of people, and I can say I was very moved by his spoken words. Today at our service, we prayed for our brothers of the Roman Catholic church. God Bless you all and Pope John Paul II, may he continue serving the lord in Heaven.

Randy
