Well i just read the Axiom newsletter this month only to come across this sugar coated little quote from Ian:
"...working on some surprises for later this season. We'll keep you posted! You never know what lengthy, controversial posts on the message boards might lead to . ."
Well we're already there.
Make this the first official controversial post. Ian is conspiring to hold back any hints on new products.
Does anyone know a good industrial spy for hire?
Now i can't decide if i should buy what i planned on at the end of June or wait until new products are announced.
Geez life is hard.
Perhaps a further hint on the new surprises. They are new products but they are not speakers. Once I have decided we are going ahead for sure, we will have a lot of questions in need of feedback and we will post them here and in the newsletter. Everyone’s input is always greatly appreciated.
Hmmmmmmmm, the plot thickens.

AMPS AND RECEIVERS!!! AMPS AND RECEIVERS!!!
AND CABLES!!
AND PLAYERS!!
AND LCD SCREENS!!
i want my home to be built by Axiom.
Well at least they are not new speakers. If they were coming out with new speakers then i would have to put off my purchasing until i saw what they would be.
Now at least i can put my mind to rest that my original plan is still a go.
Maybe they've come up with an Ian Colqhoun Pez dispenser.
Now that i would like to see.
A home made of MDF and boston cherry vinyl finish with a black cloth grille for a garage door.
It's the Vortex-Ported windows that I'm objecting to. How do you ever keep them clean?
Axiom Audio Goat Cheese Curded Cables and Interconnects, Mmmmmm sounds delicious...
Kore
Amie,
Not to worry, they are Self Cleaning Vortex-Ported windows.
CAV104
Mine aren't self cleaning.
I just saw a spider crawl down inside the back tube.
Now what am i gonna do?
Does Axiom sell a speaker cleaning unit?
You know what would make a really neat product that nobody's done? A remote for subwoofers. It is the BIGGEST pain in the rear having to get up and muck around to get the gain adjusted correctly when switching from music to movies, or rock to classical, etc.
Not only that, but the remote could turn the thing on and off (for example, if you just want background music), and give you control of the "audio/video" switch when watching a slamming action movie.
However, if Axiom truly wants to be a high-end company, you MUST manufacture a five-digit-price-tag interconnect.

Geeze.... you disappoint me!
Several companies (perhaps not Axiom) make Subs with remote controls. I have a (fairly inexpensive) Kenwood Sub with a rempote that lets me turn it on/off/ select HT or music crossover points and volume. Its not top-of-the-line but it's pretty nice!
Randyman
My bad.
Wow, I've never seen a remote with a sub. And here I thought I had come up with such a great idea, I could quit this whole "work" nonsense and spend my days watching DVDs and surfing the net.
Sigh....
Yeah...
I know how you feel. When I contacted Motorola about my (earth shaking) idea to integrate those super speaker cable wires INSIDE their IC chips, they said they already tried it. Seems that no one wanted an IC the size of a minivan!
Bummer! Now I gotta come up with another great idea!

fhw and Randyman
you guys should congratulate yourselves on coming up with such revolutionary ideas. You are both truly amazing, but not as good as that kid who came up with the mind blowing idea of putting an M22 on its side as a center before even testing it. I mean, that was incredible. He also suggested 5 figure speakers, so those 5 figure cables would come in handy with them, wouldn't they?!
i'm such a meany....
No, no, no.
The five-digit-price-tag cables hook up the SIX-digit-price-tag speakers and monoblocks.
Get with the program.
