Is anyone having trouble with the color selector on the individual product pages, in particular the
M3 page? When Mark goes there you have to click to enlarge the picture to see any picture at all, but we can't replicate the error here.
Works perfectly for me.
I just tried it a dozen or so times and it was fine everytime.
Works fine for me, have him clean out his temp files, delete cookies, you know general IE clean up.
Works here for IE 6.0, Mozilla 1.7.3, and Opera 7.54 is working as well.
Works on Firefox 1.4beta2 on OS X.
Okay - thanks for those checks. Mark just emailed and mentioned that when he has Norton Security with Ad Blocking turned on none of the images show, including the tower image on products.html.
The photos on the following pages do NOT appear (even after refreshing the
page):
M2, M3, M22, EP175, EP350, EP500
The photos on the following pages DO appear:
M50, M60, M80, QS4, QS8, VP100, VP150, EP
Anyone else running Norton?
Ask him to try holding the CTRL key when clicking the link. This usually bypasses pop-up blocking.
Didja ever have people talking about 'ya while you're standin' right there and they act like 'ya ain't?
I can certainly turn off "ad blocking" but the question remains: How come it affects some photos on some pages and doesn't affect others at all?
And, if many people use Norton and the default is "ad blocking on", doesn't that still point to some sort of an issue with those particular images/pages with a good number of viewers??
Hey, why would it affect photos on some product pages and not others? I wonder if Mark thought of that?
Works fine for me. IE6.0 behind a whole whack of corporate firewall thingies; McAfee AV software but no other blockers.
I'm using Firefox 1.04, and I've noticed that the results page after completing the home theater wizards doesn't allow me to change the color of the speakers. I first noticed it a few weeks ago, and I just reproduced the problem.
Oh, btw, the specific page you mentioned Amie works just fine for me.
Norton internet security is junk. I work as a lan admin at a university, and I can't tell you how many students have had internet issues on their own machines all related to Norton "internet security"
Pages work for me as well.
'K, we'll keep looking for an IE Norton combo and see if we can replicate the error. Unfortunately we haven't ever had color changing capability at the end of the wizard. It is on the list but a little ways out in terms of time still.
>>Norton internet security is junk.
Agreed. Pure evil. All of my friends who call me frequently are running NIS. Hold on, that didn't come out right...
Seriously, it seems to cause more problems than it does good. Norton AntiVirus seems fine, but those other bits are just "trouble on a CD".
Oh, I see. The color selction combo box is just for placing the order. Gotcha.
Works great for me on XP. It worked so good I just ordered some M3s for the bedroom. Must have hit the wrong button.
