So I'm breaking down and getting a plasma or LCD. Actually, I bought an samsung 4051d the weekned, but now I got a panny plasma coming to replace it.

Regardless, is there a stand that will sit behind the tv and allow the center channel to sit on top of it? I've seen pics of these before but have no idea where to buy them?

As a starting point you might want to look at the AV furniture and mounts at http://www.coolbuys.ca. There are brackets / mounts to sit a center on top of the TV (even wall mounted) or above the TV and stands - but I don't see a combo all-in-one unit. Nope - I have no affiliation whatsoever to the site but have ordered from it and they (for me) were honest & reliable). A place to look, anyway.

Im not sure if you are hanging your tv on the wall or setting it on a stand. But I bought a 50 inch Plasma. Then orderd a Bello PVSC-4240MC stand from Plasma Concepts online. The tv sits on the top shelf. My Vp150 sits on the middle shelf with room to spare which is rare by the way. Most stands are too short on the middle rack. I was able to fit my Reciver, Pannamx surge protector, satalite, and Dvd on the bottom. My main problem was finding one with room for the center channel and room for most of my components. This stand isnt cheap but its well worth it. Its very nice and easy to put together. it took me about 10 minutes. Hope this helps
