Nice review, average joe.

In your case, it would have been smarter buy a VP150 instead of the W150, but then you wouldn't have been able to review the W150.

Thanks for the kind words. I really wanted to keep the system the same on the front wall and didn't realize I had a stud in the center of the wall. The VP150 would be a great alternative in this situation. The VP150 sonically is a near perfect match for the W22. If anyone has questions I will monitor the forums and try to answer them.

Cheers,
Ray

Nice review! Thanks for the link. I'm curious as to how successful the W series is for Axiom--you don't see a whole lot of reviews. Maybe that's because people are too busy listening to music.
Hello,
Thanks St_PatGuy,

I think you will find your answer in the closing remarks of the review. Here is the short version from the review

I find it very hard to believe that I have not heard or read any significant information about the new Axiom Architectural Series hybrid in-wall speakers. Every once in a while an A/V manufacturer constructs a product that many publications outright dismiss. This often happens because journalists look at the price point and automatically look past it based on their own personal bias that audiophile products must meet a specific price threshold.

I find it a bit disheartening that some products are not deemed worthy because they are priced toward the "average joe". Not until the price gets ratcheted up a few grand do *audiophiles* take notice. Nice to have Axiom offering great products at real world prices. Also, I think it's an uphill battle for on-/inwall speakers because it seems they have always been geared more for decor reasons than sound. Kudos to Axiom for pushing the boundary. And kudos to averagejoe for getting the word out.
