I will be purchasing a HT setup in the next few months and I don't want to make any serious mistakes...like purchasing the wrong receiver for 4 ohm speakers or one without HDMI, etc. I've been reading these and other forums for the past 6 months and I'm still lost. I was wondering would it be possible for someone to take the specs for say the Sherwood Newcastle R-871 receiver and next to them post what they mean or are used for? I know this would be a major task, but if the response got a sticky, then others in my situation would hopefully benefit from it. It's been 30 years since I purchased my Pioneer SX-650 and I don't understand any of this new stuff. If not, can someone recommend a good book or website on this "new stuff". By the way, I'm considering the Axiom 80 HT with the EP 500 sub, a Sharp 52 " LCD and possibly a Denon or S/N A/V receiver. Thanks in advance, John
