Put me down for an additional ME, and YES!

I've had a VTF3 for almost 2 years-can't ask for a better sub for the money. House shaking for home theater and awesome musically for stereo.

Axiom man,

being from Canada and researching subs, there was little choice as most subs came from the states and brokerage fees and crazy duties really sucks the value out of those HSU subs.

the canadian distributor has shut down I think, therefore only ordering from the states is an option.

Thus, I went with the EP500 from the Factory Outlet...best choice I ever made!

EDIT: NM, they still have that site up and the close out prices are still going, looks like a good price!

I have a STF-3 on a recomendation from WID....could not be happier, it's a great sub. I bought it from a small shop in West Toronto just over a year ago @ a very reasonable price

Yeh I know duties/brokerage is a killer, but there is that Canadian site that sells em and have a few left. I can get one now and hope to find another later or it would atleast by me sometime til I can get my amps. Then upgrade to a Axiom 500. I want the Axiom but, unfortunatly that would take a little long ( lots ). I can get one for $829 delivered tx inc.
Also I want to get a second VP150 and upgrade my MT80's. If I have to get it from the US, I will go with the Axiom EP500 but right now the extra $700 I can put into the Axiom amp or a Emotiva

I doubt the Hsu sub would disappoint you. It is a very capable piece of equipment.

Not sure this will help or not, but I was running dual EP500's and sold them both as I switched back to HSU subs.

The EP500's never disappointed me in the home theater department, but they were a major disappointment to me in the music department. I just didn't find them to be as clear and detailed.

That said, I'm a former studio musician and therefore I'm anal as hell when it comes to the quality of sound.

My vote would be for the HSU. It rules in both home theater and music (IMO), and has yet to disappoint anyone that's owned their subs. At least to my knowledge.

It's a very good sub, don't have any concerns you should love it.

I started with the EP500 and thought it was great but the HSU fit better in my room layout and saved me lots of $$$.

I was gonna have the HSU STF-3 shipped to the canada/US border and pick it up from there to save some international shipping.

But, I ordered mine from the Canadian dealer that was clearing them out and for the past couple months have loved my STF-3. For movies and effects it shakes the walls and scares my 5 yr old. For music it really adds to my m22's .

I'm a bang for the buck purchaser and this really has met my expectations.

Had mine for a week now ! I love it ... Now to decide which axioms i need to compliment it.. Got mine from a Canadian dealer also.. I understand there are not many left and the price is very good for those on the fence .. Call and bargin a bit it will be worth you effort.. I live in the GTA and called and was home an hour later with it..

I ordered the vtf3 MK2 actually I emailed them and he put it on layaway should be here end of June. and less than $800.

Great choice. HSU makes excellent well designed subs. You can't go wrong with any of his subs.

Over a year ago brand new (in box) VTF3-MKII from EFL I paid after tax $840CDN... so since they're having their clearance hopefully you can get closer to that $600
