I plan on using one v2 version of the M22 and one older version of the M22 as rear surrounds. Is there any noticeable sonic difference between the two that would make this a bad ides? Also, as my main setup is boston cherry and this speaker is maple, is there a stain you can recommend that would closely match the boston cherry?
Is that maple wood or vinyl? And no using the 2 different versions shouldn't matter especially for surrounds.
I believe it's maple wood

We need pics, make sure it's not vinyl as it will not be a pretty sight when you try to stain them.
I guess it should say Vasollo series on it if it is wood, Right?
It is definitely wood. It's the older version
Older version of M22ti should be vinyl, at least I always thought so. They were vinyl till the Vasollo series came out.

That's correct, they would not be wood.
must be some good looking vinyl!
It really is a great looking synthetic product they use.
