I placed my order for what amounts to an Epic Grand Master-500 system, fronts,center,surrounds in high gloss cherry and EP-500 sub from the factory outlet (I only see the front in my set-up). As for now I am enduring the wait until the shipment arrives. Will post pics after speakers arrive and are set-up.

i ordered my epic 80/ep500 5.1 system on november 9th, and just picked them up today.

it said it was a 2-3 week wait when i ordered from the F.O.

Not sure how the high gloss finish effects the wait

I don't think you can order high gloss for F.O. items.

Only the subwoofer was a F.O. item, the other speakers were ordered via the special promotion-free upgrade.

My QS8's shipped today...info still not available from fed-ex....guess we'll be in this together

Why yes, they do!!

The gloss effect in that photo makes the bottom of the speaker look almost transparent.

Now that would be a neat finish!

man, i wish i went with the HG Cherry...but I couldn't wait for 4 weeks.

The wait is long and difficult.

Look at the big picture, vassillios--what's four weeks compared to the years you'll have being able to look at your speakers and say, "I'm sure glad I waited for the really nice finish!"

I wanted to trade my original speakers in the first time they launched the high gloss. It ate away at me everytime they offered the free upgrade, the 3rd time was the breaker and I had to give in. I'm glad I did though, they're fine looking ladies.

hmmmmm, could I send them in by the end of the 30 days and get the HG?

I wouldn't doubt it they seem to be very accommodating tho you would have to pay for the return shiping. give them a call.

I just ordred my HG cherry system today and they said it would be here before Christmas.
