ok. so i didn't REALLY just hear them for the first time but it's the first time i've heard what they're meant to sound like. upgraded my receiver last night and have been playing around with it today. nothing short of WOW!!! i though my old receiver was descent combined with my axioms but i had no idea! now if one of these folks in the HD battle can drop dead so i can pick a side on a stand alone player i'll be able to hear what all this HD audio fuss is all about
