I have had my first set of Axiom's now for about 3 months and have no regets. I will be moving into a new home and am interested in building a HT room. I have been wracking my brains as to what size to shoot for and was hoping that I may get some advice as well as anything else I should connsider. I have M80v2,2QS8 and the VP150 they are being powered by a Denon 5800. Any input will help and I will thank you in advance, if I left anything out just ask.

Check out the home theater building forums at http://www.avsforums.com. There is an absolute wealth of info there.

Are you going with a projector/screen setup? If so I would go as large as possible, so you can have some good seperation of all your speakers, especially the surrounds. Also, when building he room, try no to have the length, width, and height divisable easily by each other.

The worst room for peaks and nulls in frequency response is one that the dimensions easily divide into each other.

for example:

A room 15ft x 26ft x 9ft would be good.

A room 16ft x 24ft x 8ft is not ideal as 8 goes into the other dimensions evenly.

A room 24ft x 12ft x 12ft would be even worse.
