Emotiva XPA-3 and centre channel power handling - 01/28/09 09:48 PM
I'm thinking about picking up the XPA-3 to power my fronts which are Paradigm Monitor 11's V5 and the CC290. My question is would this amp be too much for the centre channel. The specs for the CC290 indicate this:
Suitable Amplifier Power Range --- 15-175 watts
Maximum Input Power†--- 120 watts
Also the Monitor 11's state this:
Suitable Amplifier Power Range --- 15-250 watts (Would this be RMS?)
Maximum Input Power†--- 180 watts (What does this mean?)
Any other suggestions?
Thank You
