Suddenly, half of the words on the forum are Chinese characters? Did I hit a wrong button or something?
Which browser are you using?
I just noticed this too. I thought it was something I did.
I'm using Firefox on an iMac running OSX 10.4.11
Microsoft Explorer. It is not all the selections - just some. Example: I am typing in the "Quick Reply" box. The left button at the bottom is in Chinese - I think it typically says "Submit Reply". The middle and right buttons are still in English. One of the regulars on here - his signature quotes Calvin about making the day a little surreal?
It's in Chinese in Safari too.
Weird.
Hunh. I'm on FF3 on Vista, no problems here.
Just found the thread you guys started, what's going on with the Chinese? Where's Jack Bauer? I don't like the look of this.
OK, fess up!! which one of you guys ordered the Chinese for lunch and spilt plum sauce on the keyboard?
I'm also getting Chinese characters; Firefox on Ubuntu 8.10.
The "Submit" button is in Chinese, but Preview and Switch to Full Reply Screen are in English.
Please don't tell me our government is forcing all our businesses to switch from being French/English bilingual to Chinese/English bilingual as part of the stimulus package.
Yeah......KCarlile...funny he seems to be the only one with no problems??? Part of his "surreal" campaign??....

Shouldn't you be sitting in front of a wall of sound by now?
Got the tunes going downstairs right now,
I am getting something similiar. It got a little better after I logged in. The send button is 2 squares, LOL!
I'm cool too, Firefox 3.0.6 on Ubuntu, and 3.0.7 on Windows 7. No Chinese here, but I did have it for lunch...

Took a second to find the submit button, which is also in Chinese.
Why did everyone start 用户列表 Chinese 常见问题??
I see Chinese characters and I'm using IE6.
Did Axiom sell the company?
Zak
Interesting. At home with ie7 I get empty boxes (no language set installed??) Here at work, I am on ie 6.0.29 and everything displays just fine.
Looks like it's been fixed
Hello All;
We're doing some work on a Chinese version of these message boards and Chinese was inadvertently set as the default language for the forums for a few hours.
Sorry!
Why would Axiom need a Chinese version of the board?
And I'm not saying that in an anti-Chinese way, I'm just curious. Are there many Chinese-speaking Axiom owners? Is Axiom gearing up to start marketing to China?
I mean, look at the French forum. There's what, 200 posts?
Axiom does ship worldwide. Makes sense to me.
Supposedly, China is the next big market for everybody?
But who can afford to buy everybody?
I'm surprised that Spanish wouldn't have been next... though maybe they're working on that too?
Weeelll....I have been playing the Lottery in hopes....
But who can afford to buy everybody?
"The Man"
Hopefully it’s indicative of a move too other large markets outside the North American market by Canadian companies.
There’s also a large Chinese population in Canada, as well as other Asian cultures.

I didn't know that, ethnocentric pig that I am!
That's a terrible thing to say about Mark!!
Well, after all, he really IS an ethnocentric pig, isn't he?
While on the subject of Chinese...
I had a few Canadian dollars I needed to exchange, so I went to the currency exchange window at the local bank. Short line. Just one lady in front of me ... an Asian lady who was trying to exchange yen for dollars and she was a little irritated . . she asked the teller, 'Why it change?? 'Yesterday, I get two hunat dolla fo yen. Today I get hunat eighty?? Why it change?' The teller shrugged his shoulders and said, 'Fluctuations'
The Asian lady says, 'Fluc you white people, too'.
What no test environment?
