I'll be getting a pair of Axiom Speakers in the next couple of months and I'm going to be using a Denon 3808CI. According to the Denon Manual:

"Use speakers with an imepedance of 6 to 16 ohms. When using a Surround A and B speaker simultenously, use speakers with an impedance of 8 to 16 ohms."

Surround A and B refer to 7.1 surround setup, problem is that some of my speakers will be 8ohms other 6ohms: M60s (8 ohms), V150 (6 ohms), 2 x QS8s(6 ohms).

Do I need to worry about the speakers frying out my receiver or any other issues that could occur?
Leave the receiver on the highest impedance setting to avoid current limiting (which is all the lower settings do). You don't need to worry about using speakers with different impedances.

If you were to use the current limiting setup, you run the risk of damaging the speakers.

Sorry I'm not that well versed in this. The highest impedance of reciever is 16 ohms. I need to set my reciever at that impedance then?

Also what do you mean by "avoiding current limiting".
Don't worry about it, just leave it alone, well you have no choice, the 3808 has no special 4/6/8 ohm settings. Many of us on the forum run the 3808 with M80s and it works great, no problems what so ever.
The Denon 3808 has been running systems with combinations of 4-8ohm speakers, no worry 101. In fact, all Denons, even my 6yr old 2805 has no issues driving 80's to very loud levels.
No worries with the 2809, so for sure no worries with the 3808.
Great that's a relief
...and just to clarify ('cause I'm pedantic) Surround A and B actually refer to a 5.1 setup with two sets of side surrounds, projecting identical signals (possibly dividing the power, don't recall) used for long rooms with multiple rows of seats. The Surround Back would be for 7.1.

And yes, my 3808 works great with my Epic 80 system.
yup, another happy epic 80/3808 owner here! \:\)
