Numbskull that I am, I bought HDMI cables that were too short to be routed through the stand neck. So, pending new wires, here is the completed set-up:

and a close-up:

Boy is there for scale.
Looks good, Mark, and the kid has sure grown since we last saw him!
Nice looking set-up, Mark! I really like the TV stand.
I HATE when you think you are done and ready to play and then a cable stops you in your tracks.
Lookin' good, Mark.
That kid's growing fast.
Thanks, guys.

I love that stand. "Brown cherry" finish on that tight-grained Asian hardwood. The glass shelves are black. Best part is the swiveling feature - was watching the final table of WSOP last night while washing dishes (wife's gone back to school).

$200 at WalMart.
Dude. Walmart? Dude.
That calls for an intervention.

Yeah....hearing "that" word puts in mind of the "Niagra Falls" routine by the 3 stooges.
Yeah, we almost got that same stand for in the upstairs living room, but I didn't want TomT to get to excited. \:\)

I will post some pics of my upstairs setup soon, we found a nice mission style console at a local furniture company...

nice to see BigWill back. \:\)

$200. We were there price-checking TVs when we saw it.

You know what's funny, though? Our SuperMega Walmart always has the correct prices in their computer, while the unionized grocers never do - resulting in consistent over-charges and the need for continual consumer vigilance.
On a relevant note :):

Now that the VP150 in positioned under the screen with the mains roughly level with it, and now that the mains have been brought in about 2-3' on each side - the VP150 sounds much, much better. Sound is tied to the screen, effects pan seemlessly, none of the speakers draw attention to themselves.... Huge improvement.
