There's a lot of info in there, but I wish more technical articles included sources and footnotes. A good read, nonetheless.

Yes, definitions of all those variables of which most I am not familiar with would have been greatly helpful. While I am extremely critical of the US Navy's training methods, one thing I did appreciate was that they required everyone to call variables by their proper names rather than just the symbol name. In the nuclear power world, this can be extremely annoying as some symbols have VERY LONG names.

Okay. That's the white print on black that I find hard on my eyes, otherwise an interesting article.
