For those with an Onkyo, I have the 707, how do you go about using the 12v trigger. If I read the instructions right I will have to enable zone two just to use the 12v trigger.

Is this right?

Yes. Onkyo's trigger (for receivers) are typically hard-coded to zone2. My 805 is rigged to be trigged that way (altough I don't use it anymore for that)

That's what I figured, thanks Eric.

You could still use the trigger for the primary Zone; just tell your macro-remote to turn on Zone2 whenever you power-up.

If I can figure out how to add that command to the Harmony it would be nice. No luck yet.

I had to make the remote learn it.
Which Harmony are you using?

The 700

Is it able to learn new codes (it is not mentionned on the product description page on logitech.com)

I just remembered, I did not learn the code, it was already in the database under "12VTriggerA" which performed Zone 2 power ON as well.

I'll have to take a look.

Just plug the damn thing in Rick and report back if it blows up.
