I don't understand the whole thing around reflections. Bass traps, diffusers, how to make them, where to place them, are there other kids of panels? How much of an impact do the *really* have, blah blah blah.

Ethanwiner.com is a good place to start on trapping what different types do and how to apply them.
Hometheatershack.com has a forum for asking questions as well. Its an excellent resource as one of the guys that hangs out there works for a company that makes and installs these things.
Dang, I had a hard enough time getting approval for M80's. I can't imagine the WAF wall those present!
