i have a pn58c550 plasma and bought a vizio sound bar will not work with the plasma will work on old tv in bedroom hooked up with rca jacks

samsung says sound bar problem --vizio sayd tv problem--go figure--

Sometimes HDMI can be turned off in a device. I would check the tv menus for any setting about HDMI or Digital.
