You seriously need to stop apologizing man. We're all here to help each other.

At the high end of an amplifier's capability, the output gets muddy and eventually clips. As such, you need to be in the comfortable range for the amp and this will vary by model. So long as you have enough power to drive your speakers at the volume you want with out getting too close to the upper end of the amplifier's output, you're fine.

Hi rgreen,

Ohm started out as a "house brand" of speaker for a chain of stores in the Eastern US back in the 1970s. Ohm produced some very interesting speaker designs that had omnidirectional radiation, based on the Walsh driver. They were impressive in their time but were too costly. The Ohm "F" was probably the best known.

In later years, in my judgment, their designs did not keep pace with better speaker manufacturers. I last heard Ohm speakers in the mid-1990s, and they were nothing special then, but things may have changed. Depends who their designer is. Engineers move around (not at Axiom; the founder of the company still designs all the Axiom speakers).

Regards,

Ever try one of those "You talk, it types" software applications? Dragon Speak or something like that I believe makes one. Even if it only works with Word, you could speak a message into there and then cut and paste it into whereever you need it to go. It might make it easier for you to post and just use you computer in general.

Hope this helps.

There's also ViaVoice from IBM. I've got some clients that like it a lot. And it's cross platform!
