Thanks to everyone, I purchased 2 M80's, 1 VP180, and 2 QS8's. I realized that a new receiver is in order. I am debating between the following 3:

Denon 3311
Onkyo 3008
Yamaha RX-A200.

Any thoughts, suggestions or advice?

I think as long as they have all the features your looking for, you should be fine. Denon has had a good track record with M80's, but the manuals/remotes kinda suck until you get used to them. The newer Onkyos seem to be fine as well. Can't comment on the Yammy, but 3+ years ago some of their models used to have shut down issues.

I know both the Onkyo and Denon have Audyssey while the Yamaha has thier own YAPO. Should that make a differenc?

I've heard better things about Audyssey vs. YPAO. Onkyos run (very) hot, but it is said that they work well.

As someone who has recently purchased these exact same speakers, I will just mention that I am extremely happy with my receiver: the Pioneer VSX-1120-K. You should be able to find it new for $500 or less.

I think Audyssey is the best setup/calibration tool available in receivers, ahead of the other offerings.

The 3311 is a step below the 3008, the 4311 is the equivalent Denon.I am unfamiliar with the new Yamaha's to comment on them.

Ortho, I would suggest the Denon or Onkyo because both have the Audyssey MultEQ auto-calibration and room equalization circuitry, as you've already noted. Many(including me)view it as the most advanced system available in receivers at this time.

As to a choice between the 3311 and 3008, the 3008 should have a slight edge if you get get it at a similar price(e.g., Accessories4less), but a good deal on the 3311 might swing the balance. Either of these have amplifiers which should provide ample power for all safe(to your hearing)listening levels with your Axioms.

I have an Onkyo 3008 with M80s, VP180, 2 QS8s, 2 M22s (wide speakers), and (non-Axiom) CSW S305 (height speakers). I'm pleased with the sound. But I don't have experience with the other two receivers in your list.
