That was the longest pre-review I've ever read. All of the review was very enjoyable, though. Thanks for linking!

interesting review indeed. Detailed accurate...

His initial comment on the cymbals puzzles me. Would you not first make sure you are working with good source material?

The cymbals is the one area where the M80 is noticeably better than the M60

I saw that thread last week... I read about the first 2 paragraphs, then lost interest, just too much to read for me.

The insanely long disclaimer was unnecessary, that's for sure.

Last week? It was posted yesterday, correct?

I must have missed it then...

It's what happens when you get old, you like to reminisce laugh

I rather enjoyed it, specifically the disclaimer as that put the reviewer's perception into perspective, which is generally missing with pro reviews. It helps gauge the reviewers opinion and thoughts regarding what sounds good to him. Thanks for posting.

I posted the review last week...here's PMC's MB2i it went up against. A quick search and found it used for $6500.00.

He has a seperate thread that started a week or so ago. I thought it was pretty funny to see so much seemingly positive buzz about the M80's again compared to the hoopla over at audioholics. Unfortunately there seem to be alot of members at forums that take the words or certain members to be the end all of truths and it spreads like a disease... whatever.
