This may be fairly obvious, but listen to both (if at all possible) and chose the one you like best. They are VERY different sounding speakers - many like the Axiom sounds, and many like the Rockets.

I know the Rocket guys have an in home audition forum, as do we here... Check them both out, and try to find someone near you!

Yup, they are VERY different in the sonic character. Have you at least listened to the M80s?

i have never heard the rockets,but i do own the m80s,and all i can say is that unless you try them for your self,you may never know what the m80s can do.so, try them out for your self,there is a good chance you will keep them...ron

I must also say that the sound difference between Axiom and Rocket is EXTREME. Axiom's are clarity, and detail oriented, where as Rockets are VERY laid back. It really depends on what kind of sound you like. You'll have to hear both to make a decision like that.

btw...unless you're in a HUGE room, the M60's are the speaker you want. That alone will save you a big chunk of change.
