For a system that is used primarily for music, but some HT too, which is the better choice. 2 pairs of M60s and a VP150, or 1 pair M80, VP150, and 1 pair QS8? I have a sub, so bass is not an issue. Room size is approx 20x25x8.

This is a fairly large room; I would suggest the M80, VP150, and QS8 combination. There are two camps on the surrounds; direct radiating or multi directional. I have found that unless you have substantial distance from your listening position to your surrounds that multi directional surrounds work much better.
